The iPad is selling in millions and even with a high profile release of the Tab which runs Android, it seems that not many are impressed with the overall experience by any other tablet but the iPad. While we have seen many like @achitnis on twitter echoing the same thought, it seems that there is a strong word, officially out by Nvidia CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang.
“the current crop of non-iPad tablets are pretty much useless one and all” – Jen-Hsun Huang
But the comments aren’t really aimed at putting down the current lineup (though they still seem to be talking numbers like 5000-10000 units), rather a promotion for Tegra 2 tablets which are yet to make a dent? Google is expected to out the Android Honeycomb that is optimized for tablets sometime in Q1 2011 and we would of-course expect a webOS tablet along with dozen others at CES 2011 (we would be live from CES) many of which would run on the Nvidia Tegra2. Till then iPad sure has a headstart!
